Celebs came out in full force to attend the black-tie Joy to the World gala Saturday evening at Philadelphia’s Ritz Carlton. Hosted by Diddy, Joy to the World is a non-profit organization whose mission is to foster community awareness that uses a weekend long celebration of events to give back to the community.

The events founder, Tyrone L. Gilliams Jr., a UPenn graduate and ordained minister, emphasized that he wanted to increase a giving mentality, “What we’re trying to establish, through this event and others that will soon come, is a giving mentality. Then the idea becomes a movement. And a movement is what we need right now.”
