Kanye West, Lady Gaga & Others Attend CFDA Fashion Awards
Kanye West and Lady Gaga attended the 2011 CFDA (Council of Fashion Designers of America) Fashion Awards. The awards ceremony took place on June 6 at Alice Tully Hall, Lincoln Center.
The event recognizes the outstanding contributions made to American fashion by individuals from all areas of the industry and related arts, with awards being given for design excellence in womenswear, menswear and accessories as well as extraordinary accomplishments in journalism, creative vision and lifetime achievement. CNN’s Anderson Cooper hosted the event. Marc Jacobs was honored, along with Geoffrey Beene, who received a Lifetime Achievement Award.
