Hustle Harder :: Tyler Perry Is Paid

Actor/director/screenwriter/producer/author Tyler Perry was named at the top of Forbes’ list of highest paid men in entertainment. Perry earned his spot on the list bringing in $130 million between May 2010 and May 2011. To date, Perry‘s movies have grossed $500 million worldwide since the start of his career.

Coming in second to Perry is mega producer Jerry Bruckheimer who’s most famous works include the “Pirates of the Caribbean” franchise, “The Amazing Race” and the “CSI” franchise. Bruckheimer grossed $113 million over the last year.

The rest of the top 5 include: Legendary director Steven Spielberg ($107 million), pianist Elton John ($100 million), and “X-Factor” judge/creator Simon Cowell ($90 million) respectively.
