Video :: Mayweather Tells Larry Merchant “You ain’t sh*t.”

Saturday night, the highly anticipated fight between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Victor Ortiz took place. Mayweather knocked Ortiz out, during the fourth round. Mayweather’s win was controversial–he received a head-butt from Ortiz, the two broke, Ortiz embraced Mayweather and as they broke, Mayweather hit him with his left hand, along with a right that knocked Ortiz off of his feet. One of the more entertaining parts of the fight happened afterward, when Mayweather spoke to Larry Merchant. Peep the clip.

A few questions.

1. Was Mayweather’s hit, a cheap shot?

2. Is Mayweather’s win a fair win because a boxer should “protect themselves at all times”?

3. Was Mayweather’s anger toward Merchant (and perhaps the crowd) valid?

    1. Idt it was a cheap shot. The ref clapped and separated his hands, giving a “GO” signal. And Ortiz had already apologized. What the butt is he apologizing again for?
    2. If it wasn’t fair, the ref wouldn’t have counted it out. Period.
    3. Idk if it was valid, but it was FUNNY!!! And Merchant held his own. He wasn’t no punk lol.
    4. I only really went for Mayweather b/c he’s black and I think he’s funny lol
