Friday evening, the 43rd annual NAACP Image Awards went down in Los Angeles.

Some of the highlights of the show included, Sidney Poitier and Harry Belafonte presenting the President’s Award to the Black Stuntmen’s Association, and Samuel L. Jackson presenting George Lucas with the Vanguard Award for his body of work, including the recent “Red Tails.” The show also included a dedication to Whitney Houston.
