Real Estate Woes :: Fantasia Loses $500k In North Carolina Mansion

Our girl Fantasia Barrino is experiencing some housing market woes. In 2007, she bought the 5-bedroom, North Carolina mansion that was featured on her reality show, “Fantasia For Real.” At the time, she paid $1.3million for it. In 2009, she almost lost the house in an auction, after defaulting on a large loan she took out for the home. Now, she’s having trouble again. This time she’s trying to finally sell the house she previously fought so hard for. The problem is that the selling price is much less than the price she originally paid for it. She has listed the house for $800,000. That’s a $500,000 loss, not to mention, professionals believe that she will have to sell it for even less than her asking price. Obviously, the market doesn’t discriminate, but we’re sure Fanny can bounce back!
