LeBron James’ New Sneaker, ‘the LeBron X’ Costs $315 + Are They TOO Expensive?

We’ve learned that later this year (or in early ’13), Nike will release the latest installment of Lebron James’ signature shoe, the LeBron X. What will they look like? King James rocked a pair during the Olympic games.

How much will they cost? According to USA Today, the enhanced version that features motion sensing technology, will reportedly cost up to $315 (which is the Basketball Model), while the retail version is $180. The outlet reports:

The shoe is engineered to prioritize responsiveness, impact protection and dynamic containment, all required for LeBron’s unique skillset. Combining four of Nike’s most innovative technologies, the LeBron X features dynamic Flywire technology, Hyperfuse construction, Nike Plus functionality (though there will also be a non-Plus model) and the first full-length visible Zoom Air unit.

Nike Blog shares that the Nike LeBron X release date is on 1/1/13 and one on 2/15/13, but that’s just two colorways; stay tuned for news on a possible late-2012 release. What do you think of LeBron’s sneaks? And are they too expensive?
