It was a joke! Claudia Jordan Says Comment About Dark Skinned People Was Taken Out of Context [VIDEO]
You know the saying — what is done in the dark comes to the light — even when it’s a joke. TV model turned reality star Claudia Jordan has come under fire, after a vintage video and radio interview of her have surfaced. If you’re not familiar with Jordan, before hitting BRAVO’s reality TV screen, she appeared on shows like Deal or No Deal, The Price is Right, Celebrity Apprentice co-hosted on the one time late show, Tiny Tonight, etc. And before going head-to-head with the likes of NeNe Leakes, she’s seen her share of drama, having publicized beefs with Tamar Braxton (who is friends with NeNe) and Omarosa.
Recently, two videos surfaced (compliments of Fameolous) of her — one of her commenting on dark complexion folk at a party and the other of her dissing her former co-worker, Tiny.
Reportedly, back in 2009, she hosted a Get Entertainment party for her friend and former co-worker Tina Divina, when she made comments about dark skinned attendees. In the clip, she states:
I don’t really think it’s a good idea with all these black people walking around cause black on black it’s hard to see, I can’t really see who’s who in all black I could only see the beige people like Sicily, Jason, Jaylen, kind of Tina, and myself everybody else I only see T&I.

The comments that she and Ne ne made clearly lets me know that the Willie Lynch Syndrome is alive and actively working. Both of them should be ashame of themselves.
If it was a joke, it was done in poor taste. Especially since she half-breed comments even if they’re jokes, aren’t cool. I’m more offended at the fact that she made mean jokes about Tiny and later appeared on her talk show. Seems a bit shady.

I really dislike her. These comments were so rude and mean. I dislike that she tries to distinguish herself as not black, but jumps on the “let’s joke black people bandwagon.” How do you demand compassion for your experience as a biracial woman (since she says she was harassed and mistreated for it) and then do the same thing to Black folks as an adult. I agree, Claudia is only apologizing now because she needs a job. If she was really sincere she would have said her apology way before now. Especially when Tiny gave her a job – she just got caught and now wants to apologize. My question is WHY is she on the Real Housewives??? She is not interesting – Girl Bye!

Geez, Claudia went all the way in on Tiny. I heard her apology this morning on the Ricky Smiley Morning Show and I was not at all convinces that it was genuine. If I were tiny, I would forgive her (because that’s the right thing to do) but I wouldn’t fool with her anymore….and to think she gave her a job……
I feel like this apology was to satisfy the public. The post states that Claudia worked on Tiny’s show after the fact, so I’m sure she has already apologized to Tiny. Nonetheless, the comments were very mean and rude.
That’s the thing, Tiny has no idea about this until someone called out Claudia on tweeter and tagged Tiny and gave the link. Claudia did not apologized to Tiny before she was on her show, while she was on her show collecting paychecks, and after the show was over. Tiny probably thought she was a friend.
Folks are funny. These same people acting like Claudia is apart of the KKK were praising Phaedra Parks to HIGH HEAVENS AND BEYOND for saying the cruelest thing about sperm banks I have EVER heard on televsion PERIOD to another black woman. These same people PRAISED Porsha Williams for dragging another black woman by her REAL hair. These same people tore Raven Symone to shreds because she stated the obvious, she was not an “African American.” Black people in this country and in the world are FINISHED. Too much hypocrisy and down right ignorance.
