After winning five gold medals in Brazil, could America’s fan-favorite gymnast Simone Biles be eyeing the mirror ball trophy as well? Rumors have been swirling that the Olympian could be on the roster for the 23rd season of Dancing with the Stars, which kicks off next month.

This week, Simone set the record straight on the rumors, revealing she isn’t doing “DWTS” this season, but left the door open for the future. She said,

With the tour going on, the fall [season] will be very, very hard to attend, so I can’t do that one. I’m hoping for the spring one if they would allow me to do that — that would be awesome.

Though Biles has said she isn’t a good dancer, she is hoping the pros will help her learn some moves if she does sign on next year.

You just wait till they teach you, if I get selected.

One week after meeting her celeb crush, Zac Efron, Simone was still glowing! She shared,

It’s so amazing that he could fly all that way to come surprise us.

Aside from meeting Zac in Rio, Biles also had the honor of holding the American flag during the closing ceremony for the Olympics. Since so many people wanted pics with her, Simone singlehandedly stalled the parade. She commented,

It was a crazy, surreal moment, but it was very exciting.

The 19-year-old did not divulge where she is keeping her gold medals, but opened up on fellow winner Michael Phelps’ advice for how to handle them.

He was showing us how to stack the medals so that they stay put and they don’t cling together and, like, wobble everywhere.

Up next on Simone’s busy schedule… Kellogg’s Tour of Gymnastics Champions, where she’ll be hitting 36 cities with her teammates. As for her plans once she finally gets some well-deserved time off, Simone revealed,

I’m just gonna lay around the house and spend time with friends and family.
