Alicia Keys on Clementi’s Suicide & Bullies “Get them the f— out of your sphere.”
Alicia Keys gave some very real advice about the tragic death of Tyler Clementi, a Rutgers student who recently committed suicide after his roommate posted a video online of him and another man engaging in sexual activity.
At the annual Keep a Child Alive fundraiser, Keys told MTV News, “That’s really heavy and really, really sad. It’s really important to maintain and keep close to people that really love you. And if you ever feel taken advantage of or bullied, turn it off, and go towards God and people that love you. Make sure that you hold onto them. Anyone else, get them the fuck out of your sphere.”
