More Details on KANYE’s RUNAWAY FILM + Rationale Behind ‘Toast to the Duchebags’

Saturday afternoon, Kanye announced additional details about his 35 minute film, ‘Runaway.’ It’s set to premiere simultaneously on MTV, MTV2, MTV.com, BET.com and VH1.com on Saturday, October 23rd, 8 p.m. EST.

Compliments of djsemtex.com, details about Kanye West’s forth-coming album and premier debut film; Runaway, are slowly circulating.

Yeezy, did his premiere in London, showing the 45 minute film, then did an  hour-long question and answer session. The following has been confirmed thus far:

• The film was directed by Hype Williams.
• The movie has French subtitles (of course it does)
• Selita Ebanks is featured in the film (of course she is)
• There’s an ode to Michael Jackson in the movie with a procession.
• He helped Nicki Minaj with her verse on Monster over a 4 day period.
• ’So Appalled’ is his favourite G.O.O.D. Friday release so far.
• He wasn’t giving anything away re. this weeks G.O.O.D. Friday leak.
• Only 1 of the G.O.O.D. Friday leaks actually appear on the album.
• He is finishing of the Jay & Ye album in France at the end of this month.
• Bon Iver is on 9 tracks of the finished album.
• Alicia Keys performed some of the vocals on ‘Lost in The World’.
• He wants to tour the new album across the world and eventually perform a show in Egypt by the Pyramids. (niceeeeee)

Random facts that aren’t really a part of the album that are interesting:

• Rationale behind “toast to the douche bags”: He was in a party in Stockholm and there were two floors of people partying. One had douche bags and the other snobs.
• To Yeezy, Power is his first commercial single.
• He talked about being 14 years old sitting outside No I.D.’s house trying to get a drum sample and No I.D. would give him a sample every 3 weeks.
