“Yes, we are pregnant. It is true,”she said Thursday morning on NBC’s Today show as part of a sneak peek at a three-part Access Hollywood interview. “It’s been a long journey. It’s been tough because I’ve been trying to hold on to a shred of privacy. “It’s still early, I’m expecting in the spring, I’ll say that. I don’t want to give too much of like, specific outlines,” she said.

Mariah’s husband, Nick, is clearly thrilled. Friday morning he tweeted, “Good Morning and Blessings to everyone. We are so humbled and appreciative for all the well wishes! Thank you all! My wife is so amazing! Haven’t been to sleep yet! NOW on my morning show and my wife @MariahCarey is calling in again, Of course she has been working all night.” Mariah is 41 and Cannon is 30.
