In response to the rumors circulating in my inbox/anonymous emails, etc., I reached out to Lola Monroe’s camp to receive Lola’s side of the story. I won’t go into any of the rumors, but the following statement was issued exclusive to The Jasmine Brand minutes ago.

[Washington, DC | October 21, 2010] — On the heels of a highly inflammable and unsubstantiated blog story reported by MediaTakeOut.com, today famed entertainment attorney Paul W. Gardner issued a statement on behalf of his client, former video vixen turned hip hop sensation Lola Monroe. In order to put the vicious rumors of homelessness and financial despair to rest, Attorney Gardner provided the following:

“MediaTakeout.com has a history of erroneous reporting and the story which hit this week continues that trend. Previous rumored reports regarding my client have been posted on this website and were found to be untrue. Enough, is enough. Any further attempts to discredit Ms. Monroe will be met with additional legal review.”
