Event Recap: DC Dopeness Master of the Mix Viewing Party
Last night, I died and went to DJ heaven. No really. DJ effin, heaven. Or damn near close.
Wednesday evening, I had the pleasure of staying out past my bed time to check out Smirnoff’s Master of the Mix Event Series. The purpose of the event was to launch the premiere episode of “Master of the Mix,” a new reality show sponsored by Smirnoff. Learn more about the show here.
Since my readers have such a short attention spa, here’s the quick and dirty…

Overall, I had a dope time. I bumped into a few well-known DMV and beyond DJ’s (flix below), watched a dope DJ documentary, two-stepped on all 3 floors to a variety of sounds, sipped on some pure liquid goodness (Smirnoff of course), stuffed my face w/ appetizers, asked a random dj and DMV rapper (I won’t call you out) to marry me AND managed to get out w/in a decent time. I was also interviewed by WPGC’s Aladdin. I refer to him as the coolest dude in the DMV with a pony tail. The night ended with viewing the premiere epiose.

Muah to all of the folks staffing the event–professional w/ a smile. S/O to Candice Nicole PR for taking excellent care of me.
