Shonda Rhimes’ Bringing More Drama, New Pilot in the Works

Grey’s Anatomy producer, Shonda Rhimes, has been given the green-light to do the pilot for a new untitled dramatic project. According to ABC, the project revolves around the life and work of a professional “fixer” and her “dysfunctional staff.” The character is based on the career of Judy Smith, a crisis management consultant who has guided corporations, politicians and public figures over the last 20 years. Rhimes is the head writer and executive producer of Grey’s Anatomy and Private Practice.
