Sherri Shepherd Engaged!

Love is in thee air!!! Comedian and co-host of “The View,” Sherrie Shepherd recently announced her engagement to TV writer, Lamar Sally.

In addition to working on The View, Shepherd is also the host of The Newlywed Game. Her rep shared, “Upon arriving back to Lamar’s home in Los Angeles from a trip to San Diego, Sherri was surprised to find their accommodations had been decorated with lights by one of Sal’s best friends, her dog was wearing a Santa beard and hat, and, in the middle of a dish of Sherri’s favorite but forbidden M&M’s (she is diabetic), was a tiny little box.” <<==how adorable!

Although Shepherd seems to have finally found her prince charming, she hasn’t always been so lucky. Back in 2006, she divorced her husband of five years, after she discovered that he had an affair. Oftentimes on The View, she would comment or joke (hell, she is a comedian) about her failed marriage and being a single mother.
