Today, we honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Born on on January 15th, 1929, King is noted for historical contributions to civil and human rights (Montgomery Bus Boycott, Birmingham Campaign), peace-keeping (with Gandhi’s influence), theology and political views (opposition to the Vietnam War, ) and much more.
