(Reality Recap) Real Housewives of Atlanta: D-R-A-M-A

C/O of your Real Housewives of Atlanta correspondent, Yosh, here’s a recap of last night’s episode. Round 150 of NeNe and Kim’s fake friendship is the low-light of the show, but peep the recap.

Scene 1: Kim and Kandi are on day 2 of their tour and Kandi is fed up with Kim’s diva ways. Meanwhile, NeNe is back over on her TV show presenting her interview with Jermaine Dupree. Back on the bus, Kim is watching NeNe’s interview andsees that NeNe mentions her in the interview. “Do you like your artists young or as old as Kim?” Oh come on NeNe, you just throw your “friend” under the bus like that! Last I checked, your old ass was trying be on “Tardy for the Party” too AND you threw a bitch fit when you weren’t!

Scene 2: Sheree and Cynthia go over to Phaedra’s to visit her baby and Cynthia mentions how the stresses of the wedding planning are getting to her and she cant wait for the girl’s vacay in Orlando. Ever since the restaurant has been “tanking” the tension between her and Perter is at an all time high. He actually closed their restaurant because there was no income coming in. Apparently, they were depending on the money to pay for their wedding and Peter suggested that they may need to downsize the ceremony. Cynthia is pissed!

Scene 3: Back on the tour bus, Kandi is just all the way annoyed with Kim and her assistant Sweetie. An argument between Kandi and Sweetie took place that resulted in more bus tension. Back in ATL, Cynthia and her sister meet up with NeNe for lunch and they talk about the closing of Uptown. Cynthia’s sister and NeNe suggest that she either downsize her wedding or hold-off until she can afford it. Both of them also address their concern about Peter and Cynthia having money issues right before their marriage. Cynthia is clearly worried about a lavish wedding and not realizing after the honeymoon she could be homeless–literally.

Scene 4: Phaedra and Apollo are in the kitchen cooking breakfast and talking about balancing her life between her career and motherhood. She’s complaining about Apollo is really not much of a help with the baby because he doesn’t have tits and he works a 9 to 5. Bish! Are you sniffing glue? What woman doesn’t want a man with a job and no chesticles! The scene ends with Phaedra telling Apollo that she’s going to Miami for Cynthia’s bachelorette party in Miami. She asks him to watch the baby while she’s away. He agrees, but when he leaves for work, she calls her mother for ‘baby back-up.’

Scene 5: On the tour bus another argument takes place between Kim and Nene. Kim was pissed about Nene referencing her during her Jermaine Dupri interview, while NeNe became defensive and attacked Kim’s singing skills, along with how she treats her assistant, Sweetie. NeNe goes as far as jumping up into Kim’s face. I thought she was going to tear that wig off! Finally the real drama we’ve waited all season for!
