Michael Vick Visits Oprah + Oprah Back-Peddles On Friendly Wager/Bet

Eageles’ Michael Vick interview with Oprah Winfrey is scheduled to air on February 24th. This is described as his first in-depth interview since being jailed for 20 months for his role in a dogfighting shenanigans. His interview with Oprah, almost did not “go down” because of friendly bet that Oprah Winfrey had with the TV personality, Piers Morgan. The two each bet $200 that Vick would appear on their respective shows first. Vicks folks, and rightly so, wanted no parts of gambling and forced them to withdraw their friendly bet. They also confirmed that Winfrey would land the interview first. Oprah tweeted Morgan, “I’m pulling out of the bet. I don’t know why I let you talk me into it. I don’t gamble. Still love you.” Source
