Pistons Fan Taunts LeBron James With “Yo Momma” Comment, James Responds

Wanna piss LeBron James off or any black man for that matter? Say some sh*t about their momma; that my friend has been known to warrant an instant ass kicking. That almost happened (well not almost), during the Friday game against the Detroit Pistons. During the game, allegedly some fan heckled James. According to James, he heard the heckler mention his mother’s name and when that happened, he walked toward the scorer’s table and addressed the male fan.
James told the fan, “I don’t care what you say to me. I don’t give a [expletive] what you say. But don’t be disrespectful.”
The whole thing took place during a break in action with 1.7 seconds left in the first quarter and was picked up by television microphones. (Searching for footage as “we speak.”) Apparently, the comments were made within an earshot of James’ two young sons who sat court side near the Heat’s bench. The fan, who declined to give his name to ESPN.com, said he was offended by James’ cursing. He was also told by security to refrain from heckling the rest of the game or he would be escorted out.
