Dwayne Wade Wins Custody of Two Sons

A messy, public battle of their children, ended well for 29-year-old NBA baller, Dwaye Wade. Wade and his ex-wife, Siohvaughn Funches, recently had a very public battle around their divorce and custody of their children. The couple, who were high school sweethearts, were married and filed for divorce in 2007. On Friday, it was reported that Wade was awarded sole custody of his sons that are ages 3 and 9.

Wade said in a statement: “Going through a custody trial was difficult, and I wish it hadn’t been necessary. I felt it was the only way that I could continue to play an active part of my kids’ lives and provide them with a happy and stable home.” Source
