Oprah Not Endorsing President Obama’s Re-election + Can he win without her?

According to a few reports, an unnamed source has shared that Oprah Winfrey will be less visible in President Obama’s re-election campaign. As you know, during the 2008 election, Oprah fully endorsed and supported Obama’s campaign efforts by promoting him on her show and speaking and going on the campaign trail with him. In fact, this (Obama’s presidential run) was the first time that she had publicly taken sides in an US presidential election. According to Pop Eater, “For 2012, much has changed for Oprah. She now has her own cable channel called OWN that has been struggling to find an audience — she isn’t going to do anything to alienate them.” What are your thoughts? Can Obama win a second term without Oprah? Are her reasons for NOT supporting him visibly valid? Source

Her reasons are valid, she’s a mogul and she got to look out for her brand! Plus O’s popularity is on the downspring for many reasons! No need for her to go down with it! TEAM OPRAH!!

I sorta agree. She’s very strategic.

I’m biased cause I never liked Oprah. Obama doesn’t need her.

Obama DOES need Oprah, and I feel he needs her moreso now than in his first campaign. For one, white people believe Oprah is God, and they’ll believe anything she says. And now that people are even more pessimistic about Obama and the government (because everyone thought he was Superman and was going to fix 8 years worth of screw ups in one term), I think he needs her to convince people that its okay to vote for him again. Obama needs Oprah’s PUBLIC approval if he wants to win over the majority again.
