(Updated) Tweet Hustlin…Did Popular DC Radio Show Get Canceled? Or is Free the New Co-Host
It is a slow news day, so hell, who knows. Allegedly, the popular Washington, DC radio segment, The Big Tigger Morning Show, has been canceled. Led by popular radio and media personality, Big Tigger (real name Darian Morian), the show, which aired on WPGC 95.5, had only been around since April of 2010. Prior to the Big Tigger Morning Show, Tigger was well known from his work on BET’s ‘Rap City in the Basement’ and ‘106 & Park.’ It could be a publicity stunt, rumor or the honest truth. No word from Tigger’s camp, but we do know he’s enjoying himself in Miami : ) Will update lata!
Updated: I just heard the announcement on the radio. It says something like, “We are going to FREE The Big Tigger Morning Show.” I’m convinced that Free (formerly of 106 & Park) will join The Big Tigger Morning Show on Monday. Last month, Free filled in for Big Tigger while he had surgery for sleep apnea. Rumor has it, folks (listeners and management) were pleased and she’ll be the permanent co-host come Monday. There ya have it!
