(That probably wouldn’t work for me, as my fiance probably wouldn’t enjoy being married in a place the size of a walk-in closet. I Kid.) Anywho, Smith and Douglas (he’s an entrepreneur) had been engaged for 6 months when they decided to have an intimate ceremony, instead of something lavish. Smith told Essence, “We discussed having a small wedding with close family and friends, but instead, we decided to hold a very simple, intimate ceremony with just us and our pastor,” said Smith. “We prayed about it and it just felt right for us. It was a beautiful, blessed moment that we will remember forever. We’re thankful to God to end the year on such a high note. It’s exciting!” They honeymooned in Las Vegas.
