Clifton Powell ‘Airs-Out’ Spike Lee ::: “I don’t like Spike Lee. He needs to sit his punk a$$ down.”
Yesterday, actor Clifton Powell stopped by DC’s WKYS, chopped it up with the Russ Parr Morning Show and when asked about Spike Lee, had some choice words AND thoughts. At the 1:20 mark, Powell goes ALLLLLL the way in. Peep the audio. My money’s on Clifton.

I’m sorry but why do we care about what Clifton Powell thinks of Spike Lee? He does these “Lord, Send Me A 10 Piece Meal With A Good Man On This Side” type plays now days. Nobody respects that. His last major movie was in 2004 (in which he wasn’t a major character.)
Even IF Clifton was relevant, his comments on Spike Lee are so personal, why are we supposed to take them serious? He’s stating things about Tyler’s pay rates and how Spike treats black actors that may not even be true.
We as black folks have to learn to disagree without being so personal. I wrote a blog on this little spat. Check it out and let me know what you think.
