Dude Throws Ice On Stage During Talib Kweli’s Performance
According to Page Six, during a recent performance, some dude threw ice on stage while rapper Talib Kweli performed. Kweli was performing at the Gramercy Theater for design brand Ben Sherman’s Very Important Plectrum initiative to raise money for LifeBeat. Towards the end of his performance, some dude threw ice at Kweli and quite naturally, it pissed him off. Later, dude went backstage to apologize and explain himself. According to Kweli’s rep, dude told Kweli that he was a fan of punk rock and was sorry if he offended Talib, but “that’s what we do on the punk rock scene, to show mad love, we throw things.” Kweli accepted the apology and let dude later come on stage with him.
