Clarice Taylor from the ‘Cosby Show’ Dies at 93
At the beautiful age of 93, actress Clarice Taylor has passed. Taylor was well-known for playing the role of Dr. Cliff Huxtable’s mother on “The Cosby Show.” For years, Taylor played Cliff’s comical mother and in 1986 for Outstanding Guest Performer in a Comedy Series for her work on “The Cosby Show.” Taylor also played the role of ‘Harriet’ on Sesame Street for 14 years. The actress, was also a founding member of the Negro Ensemble Company, a New York stage group.
According to People, she died of heart failure and was surrounded by her family. She is survived by two sons, William and James, and five grandchildren.
