Patti Labelle’s Body Guards Assault Man @ Airport + Peep the Footage

Richard King is suing Patti LaBelle alleging that her bodyguards assaulted him for being too close to her luggage. LaBelle, her driver and three bodyguards are being included in the lawsuit. The drama begins at the 1:30 mark at the bottom right of the screen. You’ll see what appears to be two bodyguards sort of push a guy down and get physical with him. The guy tries to get up a few times, with the help of some dude in a cowboy hat. At the 3:00 mark, some airport staff start to take photographs with LaBelle. Peep the footage while it’s still up.

Hard to watch. All I know is, security in general overreact all of the time. I’ve seen it with my own eyes at clubs/venues and even when I’m trying to conduct an interview. In general, they are assholes…and yes, that’s a generalization from my own experience. Source
