50 Cent Defends His Jheri Curl, Provides More Visual Laughter

Rapper/actor 50 Cent must of her all of the comments concerning that jheri (or jerry) curl that he was spotted rocking on the red carpet earlier in the week. Folks caught him in Aruba, at the “Things Fall Apart” premiere lookin’ a little juicy. 50 took to twitter (half-defensive, half-joking) to respond to you hair critics. He tweeted,

Hahaha you fools talking about my hair for my last movie. Ok I just make more money off it lol I’m WINNING.

BTW, I looked up the definition of the once-popular hair style. Peep the description.

The Jheri curl (often incorrectly spelled Jerry curl or Jeri Curl) is a hairstyle that was common and popular in the African American community. Invented by and named for Jheri Redding,[1] the Jheri curl gave the wearer a glossy, loosely curled look. It was touted as a “wash and wear” style that was easier to care for than the other popular chemical treatment of the day, the relaxer.

Thanks for theĀ  memories.
