Event Recap…Sippin Socializin’ w/ Paul Wharton & FOU-DRÉ
**
Friday, June 17th, I was introduced to a new vodka called, FOU-DRÉ. Compliments of an event pegged, “Fashion and Cocktails” and hosted by Paul Wharton and Yodit Gebreyes, Washington socialites and taste-makers sampled and sipped at the Topaz Hotel. In addition to sampling a new product, a fashion show took place by featuring designs by the Aidah Collection, CA-RIO-CA Wear, Contagious Collection. I had a brief conversation with Fou-dre’s CEO, Chanel Turner.

On how she entered the spirit industry: Today’s Vodka left me wanting a better experience, so with intense research and high expectations FOU-DRE was created. The goal was to create a ultra-premium American made Vodka; complimenting any mixer, yet smooth enough to experience on its own.

On what makes this brand stand out: The first element that sets FOU-DRE apart from other brands is the bottle. The unique bottle design is the most important element to its marketing. The asymmetric lightning bolt shape, coupled with a vibrant purple glass, will demand attention in liquor stores and nightclubs alike, begging customers to inquire about the unique bottle and the edgy brand. When three or more bottles are on the shelf the unique design allows them to interlock together creating the most unique shelf presentation. The second element and most important, thanks to the distillery “Terressentia” is the VODKA it self. FOU-DRE goes through a unique distillation process called the TerrePURE process. The TerrePURE process quickly transforms ordinary distilled spirits into incredibly smooth, taste enhanced super-premium spirits.
