Is BET’s “The Game” Getting An Emmy?

We all have our opinions of BET; some good, some not so good. But with the hit TV series “The Game,” opinions might begin to change, or at least BET hopes they will. Recently the TV network submitted “The Game” as an option for an Emmy Award in the Outstanding Comedy series category. This is the first time in 30 years that one of BET’s shows has been suggested for any Emmy Major Division award. According to the LA Times, it “scored record ratings” and “outdistanced more highly publicized shows” on channels like TX and ABC. After all the bashing BET has received in the past, they deserve some applause. What do you think–does BET’s “The Game” deserve an Emmy?
