Fergie Implies that will.I.am Is A Control Freak, “There’s a conflict.”

As you know, the Black Eyed Peas are taking a “break” from each other (you know when your man tells you that, it’s basically over, right?) and while we will miss them, a few quotes from Fergie indicate that will.I.Am. is something close to a musical control freak of sorts. In an interview with Allure she explained, “There is conflict; he’s very protective, and it drives me nuts because [I do] a lot of my best work, writing-wise, when I’m completely alone.”
Apparently, Will doesn’t let anyone take recorded music from the studio, which is highly frustrating for Fergie. In order to rectify this, Will made her a necklace with a MP3 player, so she could work on tracks away from the studio. There’s no judgement over here. Best believe, I’d go to great lengths to protect my music…y’all wouldn’t want to know where I’d be hiding stuff! via VIBE
