Miami’s Dwyane Wade Sues Texas Man for Hacking His Computer

A few weeks ago, I showed a video of NBA’er Dwyane Wade expressing his disdain for the person(s) responsible for hacking into his Twitter account and computer. In the video, he indicates that he’s basically coming for whomever hacked him and apparently, he wasn’t playing. Wade alleges that hackers stole “years worth of (his) private and confidential information and data” and suggested that the hacking was “intentional, methodical and persistent.” He also alleges that the hacker changed his passwords and now have information about his personal life, including family, friends and his small children. Because of this, he sued John Does 1-50 in Tyler, Texas Federal Court and filed a similar complaint in Beaumont Federal Court. Wade is seeking a protective injunction and punitive damages for privacy invasion and violation of federal computer laws. Source
