Is the National Monument on Gangsta Lean After the Earthquake?

As you know, Tuesday afternoon, a 5.9 magnitude earthquake hit northwest of Richmond, Va., startling and affecting much of Washington, D.C., as well Rhode Island, New York City and Martha’s Vineyard, Mass., where President Barack Obama is vacationing. According to AP and the U.S. Geological Survey, the earthquake was half a mile deep. Initially, there were reports that some of Washington’s monuments had been affected, like the National Monument. According to the Park Service, all is well on the monument front. The Hill reported:
“The National Park Service evacuated all of the monuments on the National Mall and closed them because of the earthquake. A spokesman for the Park Service told The Associated Press there was no damage to any of the monuments.”
If you were along the east coast and experienced the earthquake, what did you think was happening? I was in downtown DC and personally felt the earthquake (although I thought it was someone having sex in the office above me….don’t judge me, I’ve never experienced one before), but I digress.
