Solange Hits NYFW, Talks Teenage Fashion Fail

Over the weekend, Solange Knowles was spotted in New York for Fashion Week. When asked what fashion show she was most excited to see, her top pick was “Gerlean.” Gerlean apparel is known mostly for their rocker grunge collections that make outfits statement pieces. Solange explained that  her fashion inspiration is “whatever I feel comfortable in, and what I feel is a good interpretation of how I feel that day.” She also admitted that her fondest fashion fail (while a teenager) was a DIY (do-it-yourself) project gone wrong, where she ripped up a shirt to make it into a tube top. “Sometimes I wish I would’ve looked in the mirror before walking out.” Apart from her teenage fashion fails, Solange (albeit good or bad) has turned into quite the fashion icon. But my question is….do you like Solange Knowles’ style or should she leave styling up to the experts? Source
