50 Cent’s New Liquid Hustle Gives Back

Rapper Curtis Jackson, better known as 50-cent, has established himself (financially) in a number of ways. After authoring books, doing voice-overs for video games, creating clothing lines, and acting in a couple of movies, it seems like he’s done it all. But, apparently, all that just isn’t enough for 50. Recently he released his new brand of energy drink, called “Street King.” It comes in two flavors, “orange mango” and “grape.” The rapper explained his reason for not going the popular route of producing a brand of alcohol.
“Alcohol would be the easy way to go. I chose not to because I don’t drink. I don’t want to produce something I don’t use.”
Despite guaranteeing 6 hours of energy, another advantage of the drink is that every bottle bought will provide a meal for an impoverished chikd. In a new ad for the product, 50 stated,
“I went on a trip to Africa, and the devastation I witnessed changed me forever. I grew up without money, but I didn’t grow up hungry.”
The company is working with Pure Growth Partners to distribute the money to charities. Sweet!
