My condolences to Jackie and her family. In the words of my beloved uncle who also fought cancer to the very end, “All is well.”

The reality of this for those without adult children and not having the experience of raising a child that was conceived outside of the marriage. Jackie is not crazy nor looney or any other name to be called, what she has on her hands is a grown daughter that has always been jealous of the fact that her biological father is not Doug Christie and her sister’s father is Doug Christie. So since she can’t openly blame her mother for marrying Doug after she was born she is secretly blaming her by causing problems between the very female child that is Doug’s, Chantel. I think it’s very sick and immature for any child to even try to make her parent look bad and if SHE (the older daughter) meant well she would talk in private with her mother to resolve any issues. As for Chantel, if she can’t help your sister and mother make peace than stay out of it, it’s not your battle it’s your sisters and has nothing to do with you but it’s because who your dad is and not your sisters. If the two daughters didn’t get along it was not because of there mother it was always because of sibling rivalry period mixed with jealousy, besides Ta’kari is not all that innocent in this picture either. It’s easy to blame someone else for your misfortune but it takes a trooper to face reality and correct your own problems. Ta’kari you are 22+ years old and it’s time to stop blaming your mother for years of your jealousy towards your sister and both of you get right with your mother. Ta’kari, If anything your mother tried to encourage confidence in you by helping your self esteem and weight issues not for competition between your sister but so that you have fair game at success. I encourage you to re-evaluate the negative thoughts you’ve gathered over the years and find the positives because they are right there for you to see and then make things right between you and your mother. At the end if the day, it’s family ……. Just to let you know my sister and I are salt/pepper and ran into the same issues jealousy but now we are in our 40+ and the truth has been revealed. I’m the lighter of the two but I made my family have peace. Life is too short to trip on things you can not change.
