Justin Bieber Denied BET Cypher re: Wanted A Ghost Writer

In an on-air interview with Miss Info, DJ Premier explained the process and what it takes for an artist to get a spot on the coveted BET Cyphers, during the BET Hip-Hop Awards show. He also kept it “real” and explained why he denied the famous tween star Justin Bieber a spot in any of the cyphers.
Premier explained:
“Justin Bieber even asked if he could do the cypher, everybody was worried that that might mess up the integrity of BET, and I was like as long as he has a dope rhyme let him spit. But then we heard he wants Luda to write his rhyme. I was like ‘oh no no. If you ain’t writing your own rhyme you can’t do it. So Justin you gotta take a back seat. Write your own rhymes hunny’… you gotta call him hunny on that one.”
