Lil Fizz’s Weed Shop Being Sued + Fizz Denies Ownership
Former B2K rapper Lil Fizz, (real name Dreux Pierre Frederic) has been hit with a $1,192,500 penalty for opening an illegal weed dispensary in West Hollywood, plus another $750,000 the state of California is demanding for law enforcement costs and legal bills. According to the city attorney, Fizz opened his shop Little Amsterdam back in July 2010 as a medicinal enterprise, but the people in that part of LA consider such businesses nuisances and usually keep them banned. The business is a violation of Los Angeles’s Municipal code section, which prohibits the use of land unless permitted by the city’s zoning code and it is also a violation of the health and safety code. They have asked the 25-year-old singer to pay $2,500 for every day the shop has been open, which came up to the $1,192,500. Early Friday morning, TMZ reported that Fizz was no longer in the ” pot business” and had quit in 2008. Allegedly, Fizz’s folks have
contacted the state, and authorities are now on the hunt for the real owners. Thus far, Fizz is still a named defendant.
