Adele Cancels More Shows, Scheduled to Undergo Throat Surgery

There might finally be an end to all of Adele’s throat problems. In June, she canceled a few shows because of laryngitis. Then again, earlier this month, she canceled a concert because of a hemorrhage in her vocal chord. Friday, her record label, Columbia Records, announced that she will be undergoing throat surgery

“to alleviate the current issues with her throat.”

Because of the surgery, Adele will cancel all of her scheduled shows and appearances for the rest of the year, as doctors have advised her to “completely recuperate before looking to schedule any work commitments.”
