Wale’s Album Hits No. 2 On Charts

From the ignored and underrated D.C rapper, to the man with the No.2 album in the country today, Wale has come a long way. His sophomore album, “Ambition,” released November 1, has climbed the charts and sold 164,062 copies, compared to the depressing 28,000 his debut album “Attention Deficit,” did back in 2009. Wale credits the album’s success to his record label change from Interscope records to Maybach Music Group. He expressed his gratitude via twitter:

If not for that damn Justin Bieber and his christmas album “Under The Mistletoe,” Wale could have been the first DMV rapper with a #1 album. Damn you Beliebers!
