Rest In Peace :: Comedian Patrice O’Neal Dies At Age 41

According to TMZ, comedic actor, Patrice O’Neal (real name Patrice Lumumba Malcolm O’Neal) died Monday night, at the age of 41. O’Neal was a regular on the “Opie and Anthony” radio show, “The Office”, “Chappelle Show,” and in September, performed at the “Comedy Central Roast of Charlie Sheen“. O’Neal’s representative released a statement sharing:
“Many of us have lost a close and loved friend; all of us have lost a true comic genius…His mother, who was also his best friend, was at his side.”
According to reports, O’Neal’s passing was due to complications from a stroke O’Neal suffered on October 19. People magazine reports that the stroke was related to diabetes. Stay tuned for more details.
