“Single Ladies” Announces Stacy Dash’s Replacement :: Denise Vasi

After much speculation, VH1’s scripted series, “Single Ladies”, has announced the actress that will replace Stacey Dash. Actress Denise Vasi, who has starred on ABC’s “All My Children” and USA’s “White Collar”, has been announced to co-star in the second season of Single Ladies, along with LisaRaye McCoy and Charity Shea. Vasi will play the character, “Raquel,” a close friend of Keisha (LisaRaye McCoy). Raquel is a “savvy business woman from a prominent Southern family on a quest to discover passion.” Queen Latifah, Flavor Unit Executive Producer, confirmed,
“Denise is the perfect addition to the ‘Single Ladies’ cast….She is bringing a fun, new element to the show.”
Season two will begin filming in Atlanta in January, premiering early next summer. [VH1 Blog]
