Hustle Harder :: Ice Cube to Produce & Star in New TV Show

In his first TV starring gig, 42-year-old hip-hop icon Ice Cube (real name O’Shea Jackson) is set to appear in the upcoming FOX drama, Eye for an Eye. The main character (Ice Cube) is a veteran paramedic who cracks under the pressure of years of leaving violent crime scenes and driving victims striving to fight for their lives. As a result, he decides to go an “eye for an eye” by enacting revenge, which affects his personal life as it spirals out of control when he tries to merge it with his new life as a vigilante. The project came through Ice Cube’s company Cube Vision and Jeff Kwatinez’s Prospect Park. There is no word yet on when the show will debut as there is still a search for a writer to pen the script.
