For $15k Per Month, Rent Oprah Winfrey’s Plush Chicago Pad

Media maven, Oprah Winfrey is renting out her Chi-Town apartment. Winfrey purchased the property in 2006 for 5.6 million and she is now renting the property for $15,000 a month. So what does $15k in rent per month get you? 8 bedrooms, three full baths, two half baths, 10-foot ceilings, two fireplaces, an inner foyer, a library, a solarium (big name for sunroom), a formal dining room, a butler’s pantry, a wine room, a custom kitchen, a 1,241-square-foot master bedroom with his and her bathrooms and an en-suite guest bedroom.

Since ending “The Oprah Winfrey Show” which is based in Chicago, Oprah, is reportedly spending her newly found time in Hawaii and California. She allegedly never moved into the Chicago home though, she chose to stay in a duplex condo a few blocks away. Talk about wasted space. Check out the amazing apartment here.
