Dear Pilar Sanders :: You’re a liar, Love Deion’s lawyer

Yesterday, we reported that Pilar Sanders brought forward some new allegations on her husband of 12 years (Deion), regarding his infidelity, narcissistic personality and abusive nature. Pilar suggested that he get psychological evaluation, she should be granted sole custody of their three children and that she be released from their prenup thus granting her the majority share of the estate.

Well, Deion is not taking these accusations lightly. His lawyer came forward a few hours later slamming down all the allegations and bringing even more heat to the situation. Rather than the usual single sentence statement, Lawyer Jody Johnson had quite a lot to say in defense of his client. He told TMZ,

“The actions of Ms. Sanders and her attorney are nothing more than an attempt to avoid a legally binding contract that she no longer likes, by falsely assassinating the character of Mr. Sanders in an effort to extort additional money from Mr. Sanders.”

As for her attempt to get out of the prenup on claims of duress, Johnson says,

“Mr. Sanders committed to a generous financial agreement with his wife when they both voluntarily signed a premarital agreement.”

He adds that Sanders also bestowed Pilar with money and gifts pre and during marriage. And on his fatherhood,

“Anyone who knows Mr. Sanders and observes him on a daily basis knows that he is a committed, ever-present father.”

Pilar’s lawyer claimed that,

“Pilar has taken a lie detector test on the question of fidelity during her marriage to Deion Sanders and PASSED.”

Well this is a regular case of he say/she say. Deion’s lawyer has provided a solution. He says, “Mr. Sanders will not be intimidated by these shady tactics and remains committed to resolve this matter in a court of law as quickly and amicably as possible.”

Guess we’ll know who the liar is then… maybe?
