Being under-rated:

“I take that as a compliment..I’d rather be under-rated, than over-rated….there’s still a lot more to go…”

Her relationship status:

“It is the hardest thing in the world to meet people….It’s really difficult to meet somebody…

Why she’s decided to keep her clothes on to sing:

“I’ve definitely struggled with that…Alicia Keys never took off her clothes….there’s a time and place for everything. My style is definitely emotional…..We hafta fit this thing bc of what someone else did w/ their success….”

The potential of her doing reality TV:

“Man, I’m just not into any of that…I feel the portrayal right now on reality TV is just not it….we’ll make it a documentary series…”

On who broke her heart:

“True story….loved somebody, not a good dude, shows you one side of him….kinda wants to just string you along….pretty much you get to that point that you’re so in love w/ somebody that you’re willing to accept everything that they do to you…the minute I don’t feel like I’m respected as an equal in a relationship, that’s a wrap.”

Her thoughts on Valentine’s day:

“I just don’t believe in it. Valentine’s day is a crock. Don’t put pressure on your partner to do something for you that they should be doing something for you every day. Why let Valentine’s day ruin your relationship?”
