Moe Money, Moe Problems :: Hair Company Sues Tami Roman for $75,000

“Basketball Wives” star, Tami Roman, is being sued by a hair company that claims she did not hold up her end of the deal. Here’s the back-story: Roman signed an endorsement deal with “Crème De La Crème Hair”, in which the product was supposed to be featured on the show. The plan was to have Tami sit down with Crème’s owners to discuss her own hairline in a scene for this season’s “Basketball Wives”.

According to the owners, that scene never happened, and Tami bailed on every attempt they made to coordinate it. The final straw that made Crème file the lawsuit was last month when Tami was supposed to promote “Crème” at a hair show in Atlanta. Tami did show up with a “Basketball Wives” film crew, but it was to promote her own line of hair. Crème is suing Tami for $75,000 in excess damages and they want all of the footage from the Atlanta hair show to be pulled, unless it features them. Tami issued a statement to TMZ:
“My responsibility is to my fans and supporters. I can no longer be affiliated with a company that does not uphold my standards with regards to quality business practices.”
I wonder what exactly these “standards” are that “Crème De La Crème Hair” doesn’t uphold? Tami also tweeted about the situation yesterday.

And in more entertaining news, Roman recently did an interview (with Urban Informer), where she discussed the current season, how the producers are unfairly portraying her and a potential spin-off show. Click here for the interview.
