The IRS Won’t Let Nas Be Great, Rapper’s Wages Will Be Garnished via Album Sales

Well, it looks like Nas won’t get to spend any of the money he’ll make off of his upcoming album. The 38-year-old rapper (real name Nasir Jones) has been dropping hints about the release of a new album titled “Life Is Good,” and has even dropped a few singles recently. It seems that he’ll be raking in bug bucks from performances again, soon. But, we all know how the government likes intervene, when you owe ’em. And Nas is no exception. The IRS has been on his back about paying his taxes, since 2009, when he owed about $2.6mill. By now, his debt has increased to about $6.5mill, for the homes he owns in Georgia and New York and they have filed legal papers in Georgia, requesting that Nas be forced to give up any money he makes from record sales, and put it towards his IRS payments. #Ouch
