Money Woes… Rick Ross’ Teedra Moses Needs Financial Aid… Literally

R&B singer, Teedra Moses, who recently signed to Rick Ross‘ Maybach Music Group, needs some additional funding for her performance at the Essence Music Festival this year. Moses, who has released many free mixtapes for her fans over the years, is reaching out to those same fans for donations that will be used for airfare, band equipment, merchandise, and other necessities for the festival. In reference to her recent signing to MMG (which us common folk would see as a come-up), she stated:

“Many don’t realize that you can be in the right place at the right time but unless opportunity meets proper finances, things can fall apart.”

So basically, even though Teedra is signed to a popular label, she is still working just as hard as she would if she was an independent artist. Donations can be made through a Kickstarter campaign for her Luxurious Undergrind Documentary. Each person who donates will receive a special gift, depending on the amount of the donation. If you’re a Teedra Moses fan, will you consider donating? And is it odd that Rick Ross’s camp wouldn’t finance her EMF performance?
